In 2013 I posted some readings that I found particularly helpful in the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan that struck the Philippines. Many articles are still relevant in the current situation with Harvey and the flooding in the South of the United States. But there are also new, relevant articles that have started to link Harvey to broader questions of international development and humanitarian aid and that are interesting food for thought in 'our' industry.
